The World’s First Telemann Cruise

Welcome aboard for the World’s first Telemann Cruise!

During this cruise aboard our yacht Liberty we will celebrate the life, times and oeuvre of baroque Germany’s favorite composer, Georg Philipp Telemann. Telemann 360º- A river Cruise, is a collaboration with Philadelphia Baroque Orchestra Tempesta di Mare, and features music, storytelling and a limited edition beer offering from St. Benjamin’s Brewing Company. During this cruise we will explore the Delaware River.

Georg Philipp Telemann (1681 – 1767) was revered during his lifetime as equal if not superior to Johann Sebastian Bach and George Frideric Handel. This Fall, (re)discover this giant of a composer, avid gardener, poet, entrepreneur and re-inventor of music printing and publishing during Telemann 360º events and concerts all across Philadelphia.
